Kevin, I have just learned of your tumor, so sorry. You have been placed on the church's prayer list - also means on my own list. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you or Jai. Blessings to you, Sherry

Kev, "Sunrise" is the composition I cherish. we've shared over 14,715 sunrises and I'm looking forward to many, many more. It remains my first pick of your compositions. Maybe it's because I heard all the developmental versions just as I was there for YOUR developmental versions. Love you Kev.

My new "personal" email is above, Kevin.
Sherry told me of your brain tumor last night. That's the pits.
Brain surgery. We need to talk. (Same for you, Jai.) We've gone through four neurosurgeries with our son – all have been successful. We need to share. love...

Hi Kevin,

I wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and you are the third person I know who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The other two have both had surgery 2 1/2- 3 years ago and are living very healthy, happy lives. After reading your blog, I can tell that you are a fighter and I am in awe of how you are able to keep your sense of humor. You are a warrior my friend. Take care and I will continue to read your blog.

Hi Kevin! I sooo enjoyed talking with you on Sunday. As the gal above says, you are a Warrior! That is definitely necessary as you go through the preparations for this major event. It is a life-changing event, which can be very good --even tho' it seems pretty scarey now. You get to experience and learn about a lot of things you never thought you would want to. Keep your (warped) sense of humor as much as possible because a true Warrior knows how to take advantage of as much as possible as well as to laugh and enjoy life, too.

Hope today went well for you...keep us posted! And....Cedar of Sinai Hosp. is a good choice. The sunshine (Vitamin D) in Calif. is great for recovery, too. Have a good evening, don't let things overwhelm you -- play music to escape!!

What a lovely song, Kevin. Thank you so much for that. As others have commented, your sense of humor has got to be one of your greatest strengths. It is something to lean on as you go through this scary event, but it is so good to know that others have been there too and come out happy and healthy on the other side. I am quite sure you will join them there very soon.

It's me, Kevin, but with a brain tumor.  Disclaimer:  I have a very dry and twisted sense of humor.  This is a scary situation.  The jokes ("tumor humor") could be a little dark from time to time.  I intend to keep this rather interesting for you, but if I get a "how could you SAY that?!?" response from you, know it's just, well, I hesitate to use "gallows" humor, but I don't have better phrase for it.  Enjoy, and thanks for your support through this time.
