But waiting is easier when there's a definite plan in place. But it gives a lot of time to think about unknowable things, like what will the first week be like after the surgery? Will I be just fine, but just seem to be all messed up for a while? I don't know.... But I doubt that I'm going to be SuperBlogger for that time. I'm going to have to get some Guest Posters. We'll see how that works. ...I don't obsess about this stuff, but it does get in the way of getting really productive stuff done. Ok, I'll quit whining now. ;)
A quick reminder about the fundraiser: If you happen to know of a venue in the Tigard area for sometime in May, somewhere where Portland people and McMinnville people can easily access (no Dundee jokes....ahem) it would be super great. I'm fairly unfamiliar with the area except for my cousin's house and the 99W corridor. Thanks!

Vino Vixens would be a great place in Portland for your fundraiser Kevin. If you are interested, send me a FB message and I can pass you on a couple contact emails. I have become pretty good friends with the peeps that run the place so I would definitely do what I can to make it happen. Peace my friend. -Paul

Great idea, but unfortunately Vino Vixens accommodates less that a hundred people. I'm looking at about 200. keep trying.

If you're all messed up, we got your back. Want us to pick you up a Costco-sized bottle of Excedrin?

*reads Tom 's post* Well. I take it back. Vino Vixens sucked. It's all tiny and stuff.

Hey There! Just checking in on you to see how you're holding up. Only a couple of days to go and then the waiting will be over. Everyone has different reactions in the first week, so don't worry, the people at the hospital will take good care of you....but do make sure you have a good advocate nearby most the daytime. Someone who knows you and your personality well, so if anything seems "off" they'll know, speak up for you, and can keep track of you. Generally, you won't care!

Hey, Kevin. It's Haircut Eve. I was just thinking it would be kind of fun to see a collection of various Kevin haircuts over the years, to compare it to. Did you ever have a mullet? (tee-hee)

KevinIt's me, Kevin, but with a brain tumor. Disclaimer: I have a very dry and twisted sense of humor. This is a scary situation. The jokes ("tumor humor") could be a little dark from time to time. I intend to keep this rather interesting for you, but if I get a "how could you SAY that?!?" response from you, know it's just, well, I hesitate to use "gallows" humor, but I don't have better phrase for it. Enjoy, and thanks for your support through this time. Archives
