Dallas fundraiser needs

This is from Marcella, who has been helping coordinate stuff around the house a lot for Jai and I.

Plans are underway for a concert in Dallas on April 7th to raise funds for Kevin's expenses (see Kevin's Tumor Blog for more info). At this stage, we can use help with a number of tasks that don't fall on any particular day, so I'm listing them here. Please contact Jai or Marcella to volunteer, to make suggestions, or with your questions!

- People to take posters around

- Someone to coordinate postering and other PR activities

- Someone to MC that evening

- Food donations

- Someone to coordinate food donations

- Donations for the Silent Auction and the Raffle

- Someone to coordinate the Silent Auction + Raffle

- People to find donations for the Silent Auction and the Raffle

- Anything else you can think of that might contribute to this effort!

are the food donations for now? We are planning on having a pot luck snack at the concert.

My mistake. Food plans for the April concert do not involve individual donations. There may be a surprise in the works that Jai will announce if it comes together.

Tom, if you're referring to the June benefit concert in Portland, contact me directly (contact form on the Peeps Who Care help coordinating website listed in blog post) and we can sort that out.

Hmmm... If you're asking whether "Food donations" in the blog post are to help Kevin and Jai with meals at home, the answer is No. The post is entirely sbout the April 7 benefit concert in Dallas.

We haven't requested meals for Kevin and Jai because their food allergies make it difficult to create meals that both can eat. If anyone wants to cook a meal or two to order for them, let me know and I'll get you their restrictions and preferences.

The concert idea is totally cool. You have awesome friends. Being in Atlanta I won't be able to make it. But Terry Lou and will be there in spirit.
