A couple of weeks ago I got an email notifying me of a plant sale that was happening in Portland for the Koncert for Kevin effort.  As I looked through the posts below, I embarrassingly notice that I did not post about it.  My profuse apologies, but I got the report from it and it was a definite success, despite my error.  So, I publicly say, "Thank you!" to Barbara Blossom.  Her awesomely blossoming blog is here: http://blessingsfromthegarden.blogspot.com/.

I'm back again--finally! I've had a rotten case of the flu-crud and am finally able to sit up and look at a screen. Don't get it! I was really interested in seeing your comments and the YouTube you included about stereotactic radiology. It is interesting and sooo successful! Yours is a little different from what they do with GammaKnife, but it is very similar. I didn't have the mask, just a halo screwed into my skull. If I had a mask on, I would've had to be "out" or highly relaxed in order to tolerate anything around my face. The result would still be the same, reduction and/or elimination of the lesion/tumor. Mine was not eliminated, but certainly stopped the growing. I have my annual MRI coming up -- was supposed to have it this week, but was too sick to go, so I have to work up my "attitude" for later this month. I always get the "pre-MRI" jitters before hand, so will have to do this over again. That's life. Thanks for the more detailed info on the benefit concert, I will put that on my calendar and see if we can go. I know Vanessa is quite involved, so she'll give me directions on how to get there. Hope all is better with you, now that all your treatments are over. Yahooo! Hope you celebrated big time!

It's me, Kevin, but with a brain tumor.  Disclaimer:  I have a very dry and twisted sense of humor.  This is a scary situation.  The jokes ("tumor humor") could be a little dark from time to time.  I intend to keep this rather interesting for you, but if I get a "how could you SAY that?!?" response from you, know it's just, well, I hesitate to use "gallows" humor, but I don't have better phrase for it.  Enjoy, and thanks for your support through this time.
