What is music companioning?
Music companioning is a service I offer where I come to you with a variety of possible musical activities. I can simply play songs for you, jam with you (as shown in the photo above), teach a lesson, or work on musical activities which help with physical movement or cognitive awareness. "This sounds like music therapy," you ask? It may have its similarities, but I am not a licensed music therapist and am drawing from my experience as a musician and in the field of support for the developmentally disabled.
Independent Musical Activities Support for People with (or without) Developmental Disabilities
- Guitar, Electric Bass, Beginning Piano Lessons
- Live music companioning for the homebound, or in camp settings
- Music production assistance for all (examples below)
